Deb is an artist, and her creative vision shaped every room. The design honors her love of asymmetry, natural patterns, and a neutral palette that lets art and furnishings do the talking, while drawing directly from the Willamette River just outside the windows.
Granite countertops with wind-swept veining, sand-hued wood cabinetry, 3D wave-textured tile in the primary bath, and Art Deco-inspired railings that simulate flowing water all tell the same quiet story.
A walk-in pantry accessible from both sides, cabinets to the ceiling with custom inserts, a wine refrigerator and bar area, and a dedicated desk space give this kitchen everything it needs. The cooking zone and cleanup station are at opposite ends, so two people can work side by side while guests are still part of the action.
By relocating the vanities out of the bedroom and expanding the bathroom footprint, the primary suite became a true retreat, complete with dual vanities, a freestanding tub with a wall-mount faucet, a wet-room-style shower with heads on opposite walls, and a private water closet.
The fully restructured open staircase, dressed in custom Art Deco-inspired railings that simulate flowing waves, now draws the eye upward and connects both levels with an airy, gallery-worthy presence that sets the tone for the entire home.
Thoughtfully designed for both today's guests and tomorrow's needs, this bathroom features a curbless shower, a foldable teak bench, a hand shower on a slide bar, and a furniture-style vanity, all quietly ready for aging-in-place adaptations whenever the time comes.
A formerly underused space off the garage and kitchen was transformed into a fully functional laundry room with a sink and custom cabinetry.
The reimagined fireplace wall became a dramatic living room focal point, with tile extending all the way up for a statement that anchors the space.
